Here I proposed the problem I came up with based on my research as well as a design direction that could address the problem.
The Pop-up Book
The Instagram Posts
I created animations of each of the pop-up book interactions and formatted them to live as reels on instagram. I wanted to create the physical pop-up book because in our digital age, print material feels special. However, I knew that the best way to reach high schoolers, my target audience would be through social media.
I want these posts to convey similar concepts as the book while encouraging viewers to engage with the physical book. To the left is the introduction, the first reel posted. Below are reels that each describe a design principle.

The Exhibition
At the end of the semester, our class set up our projects in the Grand Valley Art Gallery for our Senior Exhibition. The projects were set up for a week and we had a reception in which we people could come to see our projects and talk to us about them.
For the setup I created a backdrop made up of folded paper tetrahedrons attached to a plywood sheet.
